My little Pika Bob from Craters of the Moon. Bob represents making nature and adventure accessible to everyone, especially those who are blind or have low vision. I loved what he stood for—the idea that everyone deserves the chance to experience the beauty of the world around us. He’s also one of my tattoo “passport stamps,” marking another place I’ve been and a story I wanted to carry with me.

A cover-up of a little devil tattoo that never quite turned out the way I wanted. Instead of losing the devil theme, she transformed it into this beautiful devilish siren—turning a tattoo I didn’t love into a piece I absolutely do.

A classic cowgirl pin-up done by a tattoo apprentice. I love giving newer artists the opportunity to practice their craft and become part of my tattoo story. She’s a little bit country, a little bit sassy, and completely unapologetic.

Illustrative
Inspired by Alice in Wonderland and the Cheshire Cat: “When you can’t look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark.” A reminder that sometimes you don’t need someone to fix things or tell you to look on the bright side—you just need someone willing to sit beside you through the darkness.

Symbolic realism / social commentary
The Statue of Liberty—blindfolded, silenced, and bound in chains. A symbol of a country that promises freedom, yet can be blind to women’s voices and restrain their choices. How can we truly be free when we don’t have freedom over our own bodies?
