A tattoo of my own design illustrated by a trusted artist. The bind rune combines Algiz and Raido. Protection on the physical path, and the path beyond. V for my last name, for 5 members of my immediate family, and for Victory. The inner symbols are encompassed by a Celtic warrior’s knot for heritage and protection. The outer ring is to represent the sun, the southwest of Africa (where my ancestors have resided for centuries), and the southwest of the USA (where I’ve spent the longest of my nomadic life.)
