as everything starts with pencil and paper (or a marker in freehand) before it reaches the machine. Drawing is fundamental to my work, both in creating the images and directly in the technique itself, using the machine as if it were a pencil, combining very dark areas contrasted with clean areas and the constant use of textures.
The main themes I draw upon are those derived from nature, mythology and the folklore of various places; Japanese art and its compositions are an essential reference for me; I also like to pay close attention to movement, the dynamism of the pieces and how they are positioned on the body, as well as the meaning, the symbolism of what is depicted and the more spiritual nature of these elements
