Megyn Olivia

Created by tattoo artist Megyn Olivia, Owner of Ash & Alter. Her work is rooted in transformation and the idea that change doesn’t require a blank slate. Influenced by her Indigenous roots and the imagery that shapes her work. Ash is what remains after something has burned or changed form. Alter is the choice to work with what’s already there and turn it into something new. Together, they reflect what Megyn loves about tattooing: marking what we want to carry with us, transforming what we’ve outgrown, and adding new layers to what already exists.
